The Frugal Gardener

Please join the Hanson Park Conservancy on Tuesday, March 12th at 7:00 PM at the Cranford Community Center for the presentation, “The Frugal Gardener” with Virginia Lamb, Environmental Educator from Rutgers Home Gardeners’ School.

Do you head off to the garden center each spring, visions of flowers bursting forth from your garden, only to be confronted by plant sticker shock? Come learn tips and tricks for achieving your garden dreams while staying within your budget. Topics covered will include getting your soil in tip-top shape, starting plants from cuttings and seeds, and some suggestions for plants that will give you the best bang for the buck.
