Please join the Hanson Park Conservancy and Cranford Environmental commission for a presentation given by our guest speaker, Virginia Lamb as she discusses Soil Health and Backyard Composting.


Thursday, May 12 at 7:00 PM at the

Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Ave.  


Ms. Lamb has more than 20 years of experience in backyard composting, waste reduction and organic gardening. She will demonstrate composting of kitchen and garden materials, including what to compost, how to speed up the composting process, making compost tea and using the finished compost, a gardeners "black gold."


The program is free and open to the public. No registration is required, but seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so please arrive early!
